Anne Lee, MA, MS, RD
REGISTERED DIETITIAN AND PSYCHOTHERAPIST
 
Anne Lee is a Registered Dietitian/Nutrition Therapist, and a Marriage Family Therapist Intern. Anne is a graduate of the University of California at Davis where she received her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Dietetics. She received her graduate training at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where she earned her Masters of Science degree in Human Nutrition in 1988. She became a Registered Dietitian in 1989. Anne recently completed her graduate work in psychology and was conferred a Masters in Psychology from California Southern University in March 2009.
 
Anne has been working with Eating Disorders for over 15 years. She received extensive training in working with Eating Disorders at Capistrano by the Sea Hospital.  Anne then implemented and developed the Eating Disorders Program at South Coast Medical Center now Mission Hospital, Laguna Beach, where she continues to be the Program Manager. Anne offers a dynamic and personable approach that is collaborative with her clients and their families. She works with her clients to heal their relationship with food and their body while facilitating the development of a healthy lifestyle.
 
In addition to her work at Discovery Paths and Mission Hospital, Anne speaks at schools,and colleges; provides in-service training sessions and consultations  to medical professionals; and maintains a private practice in Laguna Hills where she treats men and women of all ages as a dietitian and as a psychotherapist.
 
KIM GLOSSBRENNER, LCSW
CLINICAL DIRECTOR AND PSYCHOTHERAPIST
 
Kim Glossbrenner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is a graduate of California State University at Long Beach where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She received her graduate training as well at California State University at Long Beach where she obtained her graduate degree, Masters of Social Work in 1996.
Kim has a ten-year history working with crisis populations in the in-patient acute care setting as well as in her private practice. She first began working with Eating Disorders at Capistrano by the Sea Hospital where she worked with the adolescent Eating Disorder population. Kim continued her work with Eating Disorders in the in-patient setting at South Coast Medical Center where she provided group, family and individual therapy. Her approach is cognitive behavioral, changing the self-sabotaging beliefs and patterns which may impede daily functioning. She has extensive experience with individuals of all ages and struggles providing individual, couples and family therapy. Because an Eating Disorder is a problem, which masks other internal conflicts such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and thought disorders, Kim also addresses these areas.
 
In addition to Discovery Paths, Kim maintains a private practice in Laguna Hills where she treats adolescents, adults, couples, and families who bring a diverse spectrum of concerns.
 
BILL YATES, MA, MFT
PSYCHOTHERAPIST
 
Bill Yates is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Laguna Hills. He received his credentials in teaching from the University of California at Irvine and Masters of Counseling from California State University at Fullerton. In addition, Bill received postgraduate credentials from the Institute of Rational Emotive Therapy under the direct training of Dr. Albert Ellis.
 
During much of his career as a therapist, Bill was also a sixth grade teacher in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District and retired in 2000 as a master teacher. Bill has extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults with addiction issues and eating disorders.
