| Our Intensive Outpatient Eating Disorder Treatment & Recovery Program in Mission Viejo, California, can help you recover from compulsive eating disorders and exercise addictions. We help you learn to replace restricted calorie diets, overeating and purging with healthy weight loss and a new body image! According to the National Eating Disorder Association, as many as 10 million females and 1 million males are struggling with a compulsive eating disorder such as anorexia or bulimia. Millions more are struggling with overeating, binging, purging, laxative use for weight loss, restricted calorie diets, eating rituals, food or exercise addictions and other dysfunctional relationships with food and body image. These disorders impair an individual’s ability to live fulfilling lives as their mind and body becomes compromised from the eating disorder, addiction and related compulsive behaviors. To help these individuals in their recovery, we have developed an outpatient treatment & recovery program that provides our clients support, structure and direction. Our program is ideal for those individuals who need more than individual therapy, who have relapsed, or for those transitioning down from a higher level of care such as inpatient and residential treatment. Discovery Paths provides treatment to men and women, adults and adolescents. We limit our groups to a maximum of 6 clients to ensure that each person receives the time and attention they need to work on their specific symptoms. We meet three times a week – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – from 4:30-7:30pm. This allows the individual to continue to participate in their daily activities such as school, work, hobbies, and relationships. Discovery Paths is located in Mission Viejo, California.
